Tervuren was designed to provide digital hazard awareness training that’s MSHA and OSHA compliant. The platform securely stores and retrieves records at a moment’s notice, and provides a comprehensive check-in / check-out system that’s easy to use.


How often do you release new features or updates?

Is there a difference between monthly and annual billing?

Will my subscription automatically renew?

Unless you cancel your subscription, we will assume that you are loving Tervuren and will renew your subscription with the same payment as before. We will notify you at least 24 hours before your subscription is renewing.


What is the refund policy?

You have 14 days from the initial purchase to request a refund. You can do that by reaching out to sales@tervuren.app.


Can I get an invoice for my payment?

We offer recommended hardware when you sign up. Tervuren can be run on any tablet or computer that’s connected to the internet.


Can I access Tervuren on various screen sizes and devices?

The Hazard Awareness Portal can be accessed via tablet or computer. The Admin Dashboard is designed for computers, but could technically be accessed from other devices. The visitor check-in/check-out is designed to only work on a phone at this time.

Can I export or delete my data?

Can I get a backup of my data?

Can I import my current data?

We take data loss very seriously. All data is backed up multiple times a day.

At Tervuren, we strive to provide 99.9% uptime for all of our users. Any maintenance or expected downtime will be completed during our lowest usage times. We also have the ability to spread out traffic and keep everything running when these updates are made so that the user does not notice.


How does Tervuren make sure it’s always available and working well?

At Tervuren, we strive to provide 99.9% uptime for all of our users. Between our chosen service providers and software design, Tervuren will always be available for your use. If planned downtime is expected, we would let you know as early in advance as possible.


Can Tervuren handle a lot of users or big amounts of data at once?

Yes! Tervuren adjusts its resources based on the volume of users or how much data is being processed. This keeps things running smoothly, ensuring everyone has a smooth experience.


Will I automatically get updates, or do I need to do something?

How do you communicate product changes to users?

What if a driver forgets to sign out?

The scale house clerk can log into the Admin Dashboard to manually update that someone has left the location. This will be noted.


What happens if a trained visitor switches companies or positions?

The scale house clerk can edit a visitor’s information in the Admin Dashboard. If the visitor is due for annual hazard awareness, they will have the option to update their own information in the portal.


Can we have different forms or videos for different visitor types?

Yes, but only at the Enterprise level.

Can trainees use the software before arriving at a location?

No, this software is designed to be used inside the scale house with clerk supervision.

Does the scale house need internet access?

What happens if we lose power or internet connectivity?

All data is stored off site. Any data that has been changed during the outage will be processed once connectivity is restored. Analog agreement forms can be uploaded to the system in the Admin Dashboard, if needed, once connectivity is restored.


What if our device is too small to display to a large group?

Tervuren was designed to work on tablets. The most common solution would be to cast the screen to a monitor.


How does someone check in?

Chevron Arrow

We provide signs with a QR code which the visitor will scan to sign in. If the visitor’s hazard awareness is due for renewal, they will be directed inside. If they are up-to-date, they can continue into the location. Visitors without a compatible smartphone will need to go into the scale house to check in. The clerk can record the visitor’s entry through the Admin Dashboard.
